Leisure Centres & Competition Pools

HOCA Practice have wide experience and knowledge in designing leisure centres and competitive pool facilities.
We understand the complexities surrounding the creation of successful design solutions that incorporate the client’s initial brief.
Our Feasibility Study Analysis will examine a number of design options to ensure all realistic possibilities are fully explored. Our team of highly experienced architects and technicians also engage with our specialist designers who bring highly specialised expertise for pool filtration specifications and detail design.
We also engage with our specialist Gymnasium Designers to ensure the maximum number of equipment units are incorporated for the purpose of generating increased revenue for our client.
HOCA were commissioned in November 2010 by the London Borough of Sutton to undertake the total remodelling of an existing Leisure Centre as part of the Olympic legacy. We carried out an in-depth Feasibility Study incorporating the clients initial briefing information into a number of design options presented for consideration by all stakeholders.
The essence of this project revolved around demolition of the existing pools and re-building new modern competition pool facilities, modernising the existing main Sports Hall in conjunction with the provision of new recreation facilities.
